Red light therapy.
Twenty minutes under a red and near-infrared light panel. Warm, painless and relaxing, for €25 a session in Leixlip.
What red light therapy is
A panel of red and near-infrared LEDs shines light onto your skin while you sit or stand in front of it. It feels gently warm, it doesn't burn and there is no downtime afterwards.
Many people use it as part of their recovery after training, and others for their skin or stiff joints. Research on red light therapy is still developing, so it isn't a medical treatment and nobody should promise you a result.
