In the US

America is already doing it.

Whole-body EMS has been moving through American golf for the last few years: into the press, into golf fitness studios, and into the clubhouse. Here's how it happened.

The headline numbers

+10 mph. Treat it with care.

In a 2022 interview, the head of miha bodytec USA described limited testing with two golf coaches in which swing speed went up by 10 mph and distance by 20 yards after an EMS workout.

That's the manufacturer's own informal test, not a published study, so we don't promise it. We mention it because it's why so many US golf coaches started paying attention.
